Can our reading lists include books by pagan authors? What about classic works which depict sins and sinning? How can we guard the discernment of our young charges? I will begin this talk by returning to our arx axiom, Scripture, before exploring practical suggestions for the teaching of literature. I will present specific examples and mini-units as illustrations of principles, so that you can jump right into your new school year!
