Tom Carson


Speaker Bio:

Tom Carson has degrees in electrical engineering (B.S.) and mathematics education (M.A.T.).  He taught developmental mathematics for 12 years at Midlands Technical College in Columbia, South Carolina.  In 2003, he resigned to write textbooks full time.  In 2006, he relocated to Franklin to return to teaching where he taught part time at Columbia State Community College.  Currently, he is math department head at Franklin Classical School.  He continues to write math textbooks and lectures around the country on teaching mathematics.
