Karen Grant
Speaker Bio:
Karen Grant is married to George Grant, which is altogether wonderful but also allows to her to be a pastor’s wife at Parish Presbyterian Church. She attended the University of Houston with emphases in sociology and history and obtained a Masters of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS) from Covenant Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. She has co-authored books on gardening, reading, travel, and cooking, and has been a speaker at conferences both within the U.S. and abroad on the subjects of mercy ministry, women’s ministries, and Bible study. She was a co-founder of Franklin Classical School, a Christian classical middle and upper school in Franklin, Tennessee, where she also variously served as administrator, teacher, and member of the school board. She also served for several years as WIC representative on the Church Planting and Mercy Ministry committee for the Presbyterian Church in America. She enjoys playing with her grandsons whenever she has the opportunity.
